At Forest View
Fishing
The established 1.5 acre lake offers fishing for all the family. From the serious fishing people to the people who just want to 'dabble'.
The lake is stocked with a variety of different sized fish, such as Carp, Roach,Tench,Pike, Perch and Rudd.
The fish range from small fry up to 22lb in weight, but there may be larger waiting to be caught!
The lake is very tranquil with views to the surrounding forest and countryside. Even if you are not a fishing person, it is ideal for those that enjoy relaxing and taking in the surrounding views and the countryside noises.
Pêche - La configuration de l'étang offre la possibilité de Pêcher pour toute la famille. Il est trés bien fourni en poissons de différentes variétés (carpes, perches, gardons).

On site at Forest View we have an 18 hole Mini Golf course.

Walking and Cycling
The peaceful, scenic countryside offers ideal routes for cyclist and walkers. Guides and Maps of the area and different routes are available from Forest View and the local tourism offices.
Walking routes in the area vary from 3km, up to 22km. With Forest View being close to the Forest, you may be lucky to see wildlife such as Deer, foxes and badgers.
The cycling routes offer the keen cyclist routes of up to 67km. For those people who do not fancy a 67km cycling route, the immediate area is very pleasant to cycle through, with different towns, villages and hamlets to explore.
Randonnées Pédestres ou à Vélo - Le paysage boisé et verdoyant offre la possibilité pour de nombreuses balades à pieds ou en VTT.
Bird Watching
There are a wide variety of birds in the area, making forest view a bird watchers paradise.
You may be lucky to see Red Kites, Buzzards, Woodpeckers, Cuckoo's, Kingfishers, Finches, Jay's, Tree Creeper's, plus many more.
Observation des Oiseaux - Un véritable paradis pour les amateurs, de trés nombreuses espèces peuvent être observées.
Horse Riding
There is a local riding school which offers treks through the Chateau grounds.
Equitation - Possibilité de prendre des leçons au centre équestre voisin, ou de faire des ballades à travers la forêt.
